I am a 30-something (and holding, thank you very much 😉) former television news producer,
Helladogmom, and #SNACKQUEEN (if you know, you know). But I am most proud of my work as a personal cheerleader of sorts, guiding others to find peace, strength, and balance through their yoga practice.
My personal yoga journey began in 2009 when I took a yoga class purely for the physical
benefits. Fitness has always been important to me, and I was in the middle of marathon training looking for another way to
workout. But what I found truly changed my life.
Did I walk out of the class transformed?
Enlightened? Not at all.
I walked out of a hot room sweaty and #verythirsty.
But with consistent practice, I found more than flexibility. I found peace and stillness as I concentrated on my breath. And then one day, I realized the benefits reached beyond the mat and beyond the studio.
Yoga is now a huge part of who I am. In 2018, I decided to leave the fast-paced world of
television news so that I could devote my time and energy to bringing joy and compassion to
others through yoga. I want people to feel comfortable when they are in my presence, but
more importantly, in their own skin. I want to empower others to be better versions of
themselves and know that they truly can do anything they put their minds to.
We are all in this journey together. Thank you for being a part of mine.
